Important sites to visit for funding and more

Foundation Resource Center: Established in 1956 and today supported by close to 550 foundations, the Foundation Center is the leading source of information about philanthropy worldwide. Through data, analysis, and training, it connects people who want to change the world to the resources they need to succeed. The Center maintains the most comprehensive database on U.S. and, increasingly, global grantmakers and their grants — a robust, accessible knowledge bank for the sector. It also operates research, education, and training programs designed to advance knowledge of philanthropy at every level. Thousands of people visit the Center's web site each day and are served in its five regional library/learning centers and its network of more than 450 funding information centers located in public libraries, community foundations, and educational institutions nationwide and around the world.

Please visit these pages. There is a wealth of information on these sites and one needs to invest a lot of time to aware on how to access information. It is a huge library and I often tend to get lost on these sites :     (This is the home page, please navigate and see how you can utilize it)  (for this you will need a high speed internet connection, it is a guided tour)  (After navigation, if you wish to subscribe grant makers list, this is the offering  (I am especially interested to see how our community can benefit from webinars, web based trainings which some of them are free. Ofcourse the internate connection and speed is key, but I am hoping that you might be able to do so.

Another site to pay attention and subscribe to for funding opportuntities is  once you subscribe, you will get updates whenever there is a call for proposal for your countries.
